Should you have sex on the first date?  Does this sexual act affect your relationship?  Reynaldo and I weigh in.

 When dealing with the African man, I've learnt that what you consider as being normative might not be case.  The African man comes with a 'handle with care' tab. Unfortunately, it is very easy for the African woman to be placed within the 'easy' category. 

Should you have sex on the first date - well, we both agree that depends on the circumstances of your relationship and if you know that you won't feel defined by that sexual act.  Respect doesn't come by the sexual act (choosing to give in or to abstain) rather it occurs with how you conduct yourself before and after  the sexual act and the standards that you set for yourself.   

The bottom line from what we can see is this: giving it up on the first date or abstaining doesn't matter.  What really matters is the standard that you set.
