March 2013: Be Determined

march 2013 a“If you try anything, if you try to lose weight, or to improve yourself, or to love, or to make the world a better place, you have already achieved something wonderful, before you even begin. Forget failure. If things don't work out the way you want, hold your head up high and be proud. And try again. And again. And again!”
― Sarah Dessen, Keeping the Moon

Often times, life hands us lemons and rather than make lemon juice, we choose to share our bitter lemons with the rest of the world.  We decide that lemons are all that we deserve and we sit at that dirty spot, holding on to that lemon and being bitter.  We all have a choice today.  We can all decide that if life hands us lemons, we will make lemon juice.  We will seek opportunities in our devastation.  We will get up and try again and keep on trying till we get what we want.  Often, people do not realize how strong they really are because they let a minor set back stop them from taking the next step.

This month we speak with Jennifer Ehidiamen on Youth Leadership In Nigeria,  Mai Lingani shares her story, Lauren Beukes meets with us briefly on Zoo city and  of course we focus on interesting issues with the regulars. E H E will be revealing tips to the ladies on how to avoid players while Ifeanyi Onyeji will be giving some tips on how to get that man's attention.  Obviously, it won't be soup things.  I hope that you enjoy this edition.

Speak to some of you either through the blogs or the next edition which will be up in June.

Be Determined,

Pam
