 Lauren Beukes is a South African author who has created a name in African Literature with her ability to fuse intricate story lines within the landscape of South Africa. I had never heard of this author until I read an article profiling African authors and I was suitably curious. I chose to read Zoo City and it was definitely an interesting ride.
