trans-siberian-orchestra-tickets

I live in a country where rock music is generally not appreciated(No,I won't be telling where that is). Everyone in the world has music culture but what really defines each of us is the part of that culture that we tune to- the part we are ready to be identified with. Angela is an 18 years old African Blogger who is passionate about Rock music.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra + Christmas Spirit!

I love them. They meet my fantasies of having classical music and opera so totally fused into rock, it’s amazing. How long have I dreamed for a rock band to have violins, violas…even a cello(at some point)! Can Beethoven ever be more proud? I believe they did a wonderful work on some of his pieces. Anyway, I just thought I’d put some of their music up here for people to have a listen. (check out Angie's blog for videos). Enjoy :)

The first songs I’ll put here are from their 2000 Album ‘Beethoven’s Last Night’. To be honest, I found this album particularly fascinating. I think that was what brought me to loving them…I can’t really remember… Anyway, while listening to ‘Overture’, Beethoven’s ‘ode to joy’ choral finale at the end of his Symphony No. 9 in D minor immediately catches the ears, and even better, his most famous Symphony No. 5 in C.minor…truly fascinating I must say.

MY BEST SONG ON THIS ALBUM WILL FOREVER REMAIN: REQUIEM(THE 5TH):Obviously from the name, you know it’s based on one of Beethoven’s most famous compositions as I earlier mentioned: Symphony No. 5 in C minor. ENJOY!

Take a Listen:

Well I can’t put up everything. Please do keep up on these guys because they are superbly creative…totally mind-blowing. I wish I had such talent! Anyway, Merry Belated Christmas to everyone and a fantastic New Year ahead!

Love,

Me
