Blige started her musical career in 1992, releasing her multi-platinum US selling debut album, What's the 411? on MCA Records and Uptown. What's the 411? gave Blige her first Billboard 200 top ten album, which has continued since the release of her debut album until her latest album, Stronger with Each Tear (2009), which became Blige's seventh consecutive album to debut at number one or number two on the Billboard 200. Anyone remember real love?  We all fell in love with Mary J. Blige for several reasons: her sounds, her voice (which is quite grity compared to many in the industry), her style and her story.  She's one of those artists who turned her life around when it was going completely down hill emotionally, spiritually and physically.  Her story is also one of grass to grace.  She grew up in the ghettos but her talent spiraled her out of the ghettos and took her into a world of wealth. We admire Mary J. Blige and she has impacted the world of R and B and Soul and created a genre that she is said to be the complete queen of.  On Monday, we will have a complete review of her newest CD!.
