Every day somewhere in Africa or the African Diaspora - someone is releasing new music that might make it to the top.  That's what Fresh vibes is about - introducing you to some of our newest artists or some of their newest hits.

 

 

Remember last year on this site, we introduced y'all  *cheeky grin* to Mo'Cheddah - the song then was ko ma roll.   We were all excited to watch another young woman come out and do her thing.  We've been waiting for her Sophomore album to come out or at least a little teaser.  Yes!  After a couple of months in the studio,she has a single to offer us.  Let's take a listen - this single features Phenom who works in the same label with her.  Grab your headsets, your dancing shoes and get ready to groove. 

Second thing, did y'all (please don't ask me what I was doing this weekend?)  see the Forbes 40 most powerful celebrities?  Notice:  a LOT  are West Africans and a quarter are Nigerians.  YIPEE!! for Nigeria!  It's always great to hear or read something positive about Nigeria.  The most exciting part of that whole news, is that number one was Chinua Achebe.  It's just great to know we are still reading and most importantly still enjoying his works.   To read more, please click link.
